So..its been about month since the bar exam. How are you feeling? Well you should feel good. Its in the past now onto the future. You may want to put the books away for awhile. Move on with life for now. Maybe get an internship, part-time job, or hey if you can, take a trip somewhere. Its time for you to keep your mind focused on other things.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010
Hey guys:
Just wanted to check in. How did the day go? I’m sure it flew by. The good news is you don’t have to write any essays or pts tomorrow. Just multiple choice. Time to let the laptop relax for a day. The bar exam is a marathon so make sure and get hydrated and get some sleep. Good luck tomorrow!
The Bar Exam Is Almost Here..
Sunday, July 25th, 2010Is It Good For Me To Read The Online Blogs?
Thursday, July 1st, 2010There are many blogs out there now. Want to see? Just google “law school blog” and you’ll see what I mean. Blogs are good for some but not for all. You have to read them with a cautious eye. For example, if you are looking for a tip on a legal issue or what to expect at the bar exam – then yes, good. However, if you are looking for feedback on a specific bar review course – you may want to review lots of posts before making up your mind. However, again, if you want a mnemonic, outline, or just a few words from a former bar taker…go ahead.
Should I Still Type My Exam If My Computer Has Problems Loading Examsoft?
Sunday, June 27th, 2010Do you have problems or have you had problems using examsoft? Most students at this point who are typing the bar exam most likely have used their laptops during their finals during law school. And…who hasn’t had that one issue that came about for no reason and quickly went away? Everyone! All computer programs have glitches. Its normal. However, if your computer has had several problems during exam after exam..it might be a good idea to use another laptop just for the bar exam. However, make sure to test it well before you take it to the exam!
How Many Essays Should I Write Per Subject?
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010Well, that’s a good question. Most bar reviews offer students atleast 1-3 essays per subject for homework. While this is offered to students, unless it is required, the average student does 1-2 essays. Unfortunately, this isn’t enough anymore. Students need to practice practice practice. This means that instead of 1-2 essays, a student should write 4-6 essays per subject. There are usually approx. 5 main areas tested for every subject. If you go through past bar exam questions – you will see the trends. It’s not a secret anymore. So, don’t be the average student. You still have time. If you wrote 2 for torts, make a study plan, and make sure to write 2-3 more!
How Much Sleep Should I Get While Studying?
Monday, June 21st, 2010The quick answer is…it depends. How much sleep were you getting before you started studying. While people believe the perfect answer is…as much as you can..this isn’t always the best answer. You should try and get as much sleep as you would normally if you didn’t have all of the studying stress. Whatever you do…try and keep to the same sleep routine. Lastly, whatever you do, don’t change the routine for the nights of the bar exam.
Do I Really Need to Use Mnemonics for all of the elements?
Saturday, June 19th, 2010Of course not! But, they do help. How many mnemonics do you remember from law school. I’m sure you remember BARRK for crimes. These are just a few that most students remember. Some students believe they can’t make up some of their own. Actually – you can and you know what it? It can make studying fun! Think of a topic – lets say soccer (world cup!). Now pick a subject. Lets do torts. How many mnemonics can you think of? Think you’ve got a good one? E-mail it to us and we may even post it on our website!
